Lois Jeans relaunches its iconic, ABBA-endorsed T-shirt

By Linnéa Pesonen

The ‘70s A-list favourite brand re-releases one of its most beloved pieces, worn by ABBA during the 1974 Eurovision

The 2024 Eurovision Song Contest is fast approaching, and now you can channel its 1974 winners, the legendary Swedish band ABBA, with the same T-shirt the group once donned around the time of their big win.

Crafted by the Spanish ‘70s celebrity-favourite brand, Lois Jeans, which is now relaunching the piece, the crisp white tee emblazoned with the label’s logo was first worn by ABBA a week before they snapped up the top prize with their smash hit track ‘Waterloo’. Band members Agnetha, Anni-Frid, Björn, and Benny completed their era-appropriate get-ups with flared jeans and denim jackets, all courtesy of Lois Jeans. After Eurovision, the band was captured in a joyous press picture, sporting the same ensembles again.

By re-releasing the T-shirt, Lois Jeans recalls one of the brand’s most memorable celebrity moments from 50 years ago. Launching the piece in its original version and producing it in a limited amount, ABBA fans and beyond get a unique chance to revel in the treasured moment just in time for this year’s Eurovision, fittingly held in Malmö, Sweden.
