Aeron - SS25

Forgoing its usual runway show, Aeron returned to Copenhagen Fashion Week this season, hosting an intimate Mimosa breakfast at Lille Petra Café by &Tradition to present its spring/summer '25 collection. As usual, the brand’s strong sense of community coloured the event, inviting friends of the brand to experience the upcoming season – friends who also functioned as walking mannequins. Modelling the clothes were local creatives such as architects Danielle Siggerud and Malene Hvidt, actress and model Lola Corfixen, and Veronica D’Souza, artist, singer, speaker, and advisor within sustainability and business development.

Draped directly on the brand's nearest and dearest, Aeron’s SS25 puts its emphasis on the needs and comfort of women. “Summer collections are always the most challenging for me. I only want to wear something easy, lightweight, and bearable against the heat,” founder and creative director Eszter Áron shared. The relaxed and fluid silhouettes, including floor-grazing maxi dresses, flowing wide-leg trousers, and loosely knitted tops, skim lightly over the body. The collection is detailed with intricate hardware elements, including signature small studs and hanging A-motifs – motifs that complement the core colour palette of whites, blacks and pastels.

The presentation highlighted Áron’s belief that a garment should serve its wearer, and to ensure the concept of the collection resonates, she sought more than just a fleeting runway moment. “Recently, I was on an island with my daughter and husband, far from home, stepping away from my day-to-day life and routines,” says Áron. “I wanted to capture this feeling in the collection, blending the comfort of holiday attire into the urban wardrobe, addressing women’s needs.” Noting how her pieces “come alive on the body,” it was important for Áron to create an “intimate and personal moment” for the brand’s community. “To discover the collection through themselves.”
