Alicia Vikander promotes her new movie wearing head to toe By Malene Birger
Swedish actor Alicia Vikander has shown us time and time again that when it comes to red carpet style, she never misses. She has donned Khaite, Louis Vuitton and Valentino, but on this occasion, the former Vogue Scandinavia cover star – and her powerhouse stylist Victoria Sekrier – proved that Scandinavian designers do it best.
Out promoting her newest movie, Firebrand, the star opted for an elegant touch of Danish design, courtesy of By Malene Birger. Ready to attend a Q&A for the new movie, in which she portrays Katherine Parr, Vikander opted for an understated, minimalistic ensemble. The actor plucked her look straight from the brand’s autumn/winter '24 collection, donning a tan knitted two-piece comprising the 'Zhara' buttoned top and 'Estille' midi skirt . A picture of elegance and sophistication, she paired the ensemble with patent white pumps and minimal jewellery, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.
While the movie premiered in the USA in 2023, Vikander has been spearheading the European release, attending events and photocalls for the past few months. As she continues on the promotional trail, we hope she will choose again to fly the flag for Scandinavian design.
