In recent years, there’s been a paradigm shift in how brands talk about SPF. Rather than stress the health implications of skipping sunscreen, they're appealing to our vanity and how a slick coat can stave off fine lines, slack skin and hyperpigmentation. It’s clearly having an effect as facial sunscreens are getting more advanced than ever with hardworking skincare ingredients included as standard and, perhaps most importantly, textures that feel like nothing on all skin tones.
