A lookback at Arizona Muse's 10 best runway moments

Sporting side-slicked hair and silver eyeshadow, muse opened the Prada spring/summer 2011 show wearing an eye-catching orange dress. It was this appearance that sent her into the supermodel stratosphere.

Few models are ever bestowed the honour of closing a show, so when Muse had her second "closer" during her first season – walking on Saint Laurent's spring/summer 2011 catwalk – it was one for the memory books.

Yes, memorable runway moments come in the form of fabulous frocks and show-stealing sets, but sometimes it is the brand's choice of beauty look that stand out. Take Marc Jacobs' spring/summer '11 show, for example, which saw Muse bleach her eyebrows for the first time.

A frequent face in Chanel's model roster, it comes as no surprise that Muse's Haute Couture debut – wearing black and white tweed with sparkling sequin details – was on the French Maison's runway.

Having dominated the runways throughout the early 2010s, Muse decided to step off the runway to focus on editorial work and campaigns. Her last appearance before the short hiatus saw the model wearing sleek tailoring on Hermès autumn/winter 2013 runway.

Three years later, Muse returned to the runway walking Swedish Acne Studios’ autumn/winter show. It was an appearance warmly welcomed by the fashion critics at the time, who noted that it was a joy to see Muse back in Paris.

By the mid-2010s, Arizona Muse was becoming a household name and became a fixture in Ralph & Russo gowns both on and off the runway – for example when attending red carpets at the Cannes Film Festival and the Met Gala.

Throughout Karl Lagerfeld's most theatrical era as the creative director of Chanel, Muse would walk the French Maison's shows. Here, she has just passed the iconic spaceship (which would later "take off") wearing a white coat and silver boots.

Another memorable Chanel appearance was the spring/summer '18 show, when Muse made a splash sporting the collections water-wicking plastic cape and boots.
