As the world turned its gaze to London Fashion Week, Axel Arigato kept the party going in NYC with a rooftop celebration for its debut store in the States
Beneath an illuminated Hollywood-inspired sign, Gothenburg-based Axel Arigato let New York know, loud and clear, that it had arrived. Atop a rooftop in Brooklyn, community members from across New York's creative sectors gathered to toast the impending opening of the brand's debut store in the States.
Set against a panoramic cityscape, VIP's such as Sarah Snyder, Fai Khadra and Bloody Osiris attended the event alongside creatives Brandon Tan, Cjay Syre and Alani Noelle. Guests were treated to a two-hour performance from actor, model and DJ Luka Sabbat, with American-style hot dogs and cocktails courtesy of Lalo Tequila and Ten To One Rum serving as party fuel to dance into the early hours.
"It's a joy to finally bring Axel Arigato to the USA and offer the community the chance to experience and immerse themselves in the brand universe" says CEO Albin Johansson, who joined the celebrations from Sweden. "This event brought together the creative principles of the brand, from music and live performance, to considered design curation and creativity."
This New York moment is just the beginning of Axel Arigato's Swedish invasion across September. The brand is continuing its mission to create unforgettable events and build its community via this unique lens.
