Over the weekend, Benjamin Ingrosso unveiled his latest studio album, Pink Velvet Theatre, at a listening party held in Östermalm’s iconic Maxim Theatre. Guests were welcomed with a lively mix of burgers, cocktails, and beats, setting the stage to experience Ingrosso’s latest musical evolution.

After a standout summer, which saw Ingrosso perform at Eurovision and collaborate with music legend Nile Rodgers, the musician’s star continues to rise. “I’ve been working on Pink Velvet Theatre for over two years,” Ingrosso shares. “This album marks the first chapter of a much larger story. If you’ve attended any of my concerts over the past year, you’ve likely heard parts of the new music, but it feels fantastic to finally share it fully with everyone.”

Amid the excitement of Ingrosso’s latest sound, guests enjoyed an array of playful and eccentric touches. Endless Aperol, cases of Estrella, Nick’s sweets, and Bap burgers kept everyone fuelled, while jazz music set the tone and tinned Mino cans — courtesy of the Ingrosso siblings’ new food label — provided a quirky culinary background. Magicians befuddled guests with card tricks and optical illusions, while mimes in mirrored suits slid silently through the crowd, reflecting light and playfully mimicking their movements.

In a distinctly Ingrosso twist, a tattoo artist was on hand, inviting guests to take home a permanent memento of the album and the evening. For those preferring to relax and soak in the atmosphere, Ingrosso and party designer Jordy Kanange provided plush pink velvet sofas — an on-theme homage to Pink Velvet Theatre.
