As Christmas party season kicks into high gear, we're scouring social media for a serving of sparkling inspiration. This week, we have our eyes on glittering fir-green eyeshadows, courtesy of Swedish content creator Alice Linnea and Elsa Hosk's party-ready "peppermint mocha makeup." At the same time, Norwegian actress Alisha Boe went for a glamorous cropped cut that had us reaching for the scissors, and Swedish supermodel Kelly Gale shared her homemade recipe for glowing skin.
Scroll below for the seven beauty moments inspiring us for this week – your regular beauty cheat sheet, if you will.
Elsa Hosk's "peppermint mocha" makeup
The beauty lexicon is growing ever larger, with "latte", "mob-wife" and "clean-girl" makeup lining up to join the throngs of trending looks. The latest to make it into our vocabulary is "peppermint mocha" makeup. A phrase we first found on Elsa Hosk's instagram feed, we've definitely seen (and coveted) this specific blend of beauty products as of late. It's perfectly evocative of New York winters, jazz club crooners (We're looking at your Sinatra), floating faux furs and dirty martinis included.
Alisha Boe's ultra-cropped bob
Nara Smith, is that you? Whether inspired by fashion's new favourite softly-spoken influencer or finding inspiration in the fabulous flapper chops of yesteryear, Norwegian actress Alisha Boe has us salon-bound pleading for an ultra cropped cut.
Linda Hallberg's festive feline flick
Why settle for one feline flick when you can sport three? Swedish makeup artist and LH Cosmetics founder Linda Hallberg proves she has the precision to pull off this beauty triple threat—pairing sparkling red eyeshadow (perfectly festive) with impeccably sharp black eyeliner.
Emilie Tømmerberg's soft glam
There's no need to reinvent the beauty wheel come Christmas. Just look to Norwegian content creator Emilie Tømmerberg for proof – her soft glam goes perfectly with sparkling glubbel and a festive party frock.
Alice Linnea's glittering fir-green eyeshadow
In the forest of eye shadow shades and potential palettes, green has long been a slept-on but holiday-friendly hue. Swedish content creator Alice Linnea’s latest reel, featuring a fir-tastic sparkling shadow, shows us exactly how to branch out into bold greens and spruce up our makeup routines. No need to pine for the perfect party look — it’s here.
Matilda Djerf's Cindy-Lou Who 'do
Hailey Bieber's beauty brand Rhode continues to create buzz, now partnering with Matilda Djerf on an extra festive beauty treat for the holidays; The limited-edition peptide lip treatment Peppermint Glaze. To celebrate, Djerf shared photos to Instagram sporting a distinctly Cindy-Lou Who looking 'do.
Kelly Gale's home-made, glow-enhancing face mask
Tumeric, marshmallow root, coconut sugar and raw honey – that's the recipe for recreating Kelly Gale's coveted glow. Sharing her homemade remedy on Instagram, the Swedish supermodel and former Victoria's Secret angel (lest we forget Vogue Scandinavia cover star) wrote that the potion keeps her skin "glowy and hydrated while traveling."
