Twice a year, the fashion industry converges on Copenhagen for a fresh injection of Scandinavian inspiration. While the streets and catwalks of the Danish capital flood with style-savvy models and showgoers, we put our loupe up close to the beauty looks for the best runway hair and makeup to replicate now

1

The graphic liner at Fine Chaos

With a liquid liner and the flick of a wrist you, too, can create Fine Chaos' graphic look. Built just above your lid, the graphic eye pairs best with a powdered base and a well-defined lip.

The bed hair at Gestuz

We love a look that requires very little effort to recreate, and the fact that Gestuz's rock and roll tousled tresses seemed to require nary brush nor product made it the perfect 'do. What's not to love about just-out-of-bed beauty?

The healthy glow at Rotate

Ahead of its Danish launch, Charlotte Tilbury partnered with Rotate for the brand's Copenhagen Fashion Week show. Sofia Tilbury broke down the step-by-step behind the covetable complexion, and we can't wait to recreate it.

The gelled finger waves at Henrik Vibskov

Gel has become a heavy lifter in our hair arsenal, slicking back both bun and ponytail. But, once you've mastered the basics there are plenty more this styling super hero can do. Take Henrik Vibskov's sleek finger wave fringe, for example. All you need is a boar bristle comb, gel and nimble fingers to recreate this enviable swoop.

5

The glass skin at Baum und Pferdgarten

Glass skin is going nowhere if we're to trust the flawless faces of Baum Und Pferdgarten's models. High-shine without any hint of grease is hard to achieve. That said, it isn't impossible, but you need to be diligent in your skin care routine to even come close to this finish.

6

The bare face and glossy lip at Herskind

Returning to the basics is often your best bet when building a new beauty routine for the season, a pearl of wisdom perpetrated on Herskind's runway. Here, dressed in stunningly fitted tailoring, models of all ages stepped almost bare-faced onto the catwalk – except for lusciously glossy lips.

7

Soft peach eyeshadow and a subtle lash at Lovechild 1979

Lovechild 1979 is a power player in subtlety, proving time and time again that they know how to pack a workwear punch. This skill also reverberated through the brand's runway beauty this season. Yes, there were the tousled tresses and undone brows, but we found ourselves falling for the next-to-neutral peach eyeshadow and the subtlety of a light brown lash in particular.

8

Punchy neon pink blush at Nicklas Skovgaard

Considering the models at Nicklas Skovgaard's spring/summer '25 runway show grooved down the runway to 'Maniac' in proper Flashdance fashion, it was only right that the blush be bombastic. Working with a typical 1980s neon pink placed high on the cheekbones and temples, this makeup look works superbly well with bubble skirts and broad shoulders.

9

The high-gloss finish at (Di)vision

Photo: Marie Thomsen (@mariethomsenbaby)

Sometimes texture trumps it all, a point made poignantly on (Di)vision's runway where models sauntered down the catwalk with freshly doused strands swept across the face, a high-shine finish to their foundation and glossy, colourful lids with mascara to match.

10

The brushed-up brow at Remain

Remain's undone aesthetic hinges on perfecting the small details, and their makeup looks this season followed suit. Scaling back on product, the makeup artists worked their magic on a barely-there base and glossy lips. The piece de resistance, however, came in the form of a clear gel to create those enviable #cleangirl brushed-up brows without a single filler stroke from a brow pen in sight.

11

Giving lip at Caro Editions

Less is sometimes definitely more, and while Caro Edition's eccentric collection of playful ensembles seemed to have never heard the expression – the makeup artists backstage certainly knew the impact of keeping things simple. Instead of matching the zany collections inspiring styling, the beauty team opted for a clean face to frame a poppy pink lip.

13

The terracotta blush and tears at Rolf Ekroth

Photo: Martina Bonnier (@martinabonnier)

Crying our way through Copenhagen Fashion Week was not on our bingo cards for spring/summer '25, but if we're to take a guess, there will be glycerin tears on street stylers before we know it. If you're not to keen on the #sadgirl aesthetic, investing in terracotta blush and loading it across your nose is the no-nonsense trick from the Rolf Ekroth runway.

Glam Rock glitter at Alectra Rothschild / Masculina

Photo: Marie Dausell (@dausell)

Glam-rock glitter came in ever way shape and form (including black, Kiss-style stars) on the runway of Alectra Rothschild / Masculina. The most eye-catching rendition, however, was a distinctly Doja Cat-reminiscent look featuring a full face of red sparkles. Now, how to revamp this runway rendition for everyday appeal? Add some of environmentally-friendly shimmer from Swedish beauty brand Submission to your bold red lip on your next night out.

Boyfriend blush at OpéraSport

Photo: Sara Rostrup (@sarayoublush)

Boyfriend blush has been doing the rounds on TikTok as the natural fresh-faced flush to try now. A sentiment completely shared by the makeup artists behind the demure pink cheeks of OpéraSport's models. So load up your brush and get dab-dab-dabbing just below your cheekbone.
