Award-winning Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård takes on a new (shirtless) role, fronting Calvin Klein's steamy autumn/winter '24 campaign alongside supermodel Kendall Jenner

This autumn, Calvin Klein has reunited Alexander Skarsgård and Kendall Jenner to spearhead its latest campaign. Both the Swedish actor and American model are long-term advocates and steadfast supporters of the brand. Skarsgård, for instance, was spotted sporting a classic Calvin Klein suit attending the Met Gala 2024 with the rest of the Succession boys. Meanwhile, this campaign marks the second that Jenner has fronted for Calvin Klein this year, further solidifying her standing as one of the brand's most prominent faces in fashion.

Both the menswear and womenswear campaigns were directed and photographed by Mert Alas and styled by Emmanuelle Alt. For menswear, we see Skarsgård with shirts unbuttoned – impressive physique on full display. “It was wonderful to reunite with the Calvin Klein team for this campaign,” says Skarsgård. “There was such a great energy during this shoot, I’ve worked with Mert and his team a couple of times before and it’s always a blast. I loved the styling – it felt sophisticated and sleek, but still very relaxed and playful.”

For the season ahead, Calvin Klein’s menswear is designed for dawn-to-dusk styling, featuring fresh seasonal colourways, transitional layers and new explorations in minimalism. Slim suiting and new outerwear provide smooth texture and elevated takes on signature styles that make a statement. One look in particular will have the hearts of True Blood fans palpitating, as Skarsgård embodies the broody vampire Eric Northman in all-black tailoring.

As for womenswear, Jenner takes to the beach sporting city-slick Calvin Klein apparel — including Calvin Klein Studio, the brand’s new assortment of elevated essentials. Just like the menswear, the womenswear was made for day-to-night dressing, and Jenner can be seen wearing leather with lace, underwear with soft tailoring, and a 1990s slip dress emblematic of the brand in its simplicity.

“I’ve been a part of the Calvin Klein family for nearly a decade, but I still get so excited to work with the team for each campaign,” says Jenner of the shoot. “This time around, I wore some of Calvin’s most iconic pieces like the slip dress and overcoat, so I was able to tap into that classic sensuality that they are known for.”

Calvin Klein’s AW24 collection will roll out throughout the season.
