All the snapshots from Cecilie Bahnsen's intimate atelier dinner in Copenhagen

During last night's balmy evening in Copenhagen, Rowse and Cecilie Bahnsen gathered together their respective creative circles to celebrate the start of summer. Nuria Val, photographer and co-founder of Rowse, who wore Cecilie Bahnsen for her wedding last year, has long admired the Danish label whose shows at Paris Fashion Week have to be a staple showcase in the industry calendar.

In planning the intimate dinner event, Val and Bahnsen chose to host a small and informal gathering in the designer's atelier to recognise the importance of cultivating connections and recognising one another’s creative impacts – and for Bahnsen to welcome Barcelona-based Val to the city.

With the likes of Lulu Kaalund, Betty Krag and her mother Helle (who recently starred in Cecilie Bahnsen’s Mothers Day campaign), Simone Noa as well as long time collaborator Nina Norgaard in attendance, the night was full of new friendships and old, with a few words delivered by Val about how Copenhagen has become a second home to her – and of Bahensen's kindness in welcoming her into her universe.

Copenhagen institution Villette served a sprightly three courses inspired by the approaching summer season, with a menu of perfectly paired wines from their sister restaurant Pompette, complementing both the spirit of the evening and the lightness, elegance and sparkling spirit that has come to define a Cecilie Bahnsen creation.

With the guests dressed in the Cecilie Bahnsen's spring/summer 24 collection (alongside some exceptional pieces from their new made-to-order service), the evening was an instinctively elegant affair, perfectly surmising the spirit of the two co-hosts of the night.
