With Robyn and Yung Lean already having nabbed spots on one of the year's most covetable albums, the just-released Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat includes another Swedish surprise: rapper Bladee

It’s official: Brat summer is rolling into Brat autumn, as Charli XCX – the zeitgeist-defining artist behind the chartreuse phenomenon that swept the word this summer – has just released her hotly anticipated remix album, Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, bringing a fresh twist on her original chart-topping release.

Over the past few months, Charli has already given us tastes of the new album, dropping a handful of tracks to keep her devout, hungry-for-more fans satisfied. For one of these songs – the remix of the internet-breaking bop ‘360’ – Charli tapped two Swedes: the legendary singer Robyn and rapper Yung Lean. Now that the whole album is finally out, we’re delighted to see that there’s another Scandi moment to boot. It seems Charli has a penchant for Swedish talent, as in her remix of ‘Rewind’, on the more mellow side of Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, features Stockholm-born rapper Bladee.

It’s safe to say that if there’s one album an artist would like to appear on this year, it’s Charli’s Brat. For Bladee, whose tracks have garnered tens of millions of plays on Spotify and whose real name is Benjamin Reichwald, the feature is undoubtedly a massive milestone. The artist is also a core part of the Swedish music collective Drain Gang, whose members include Yung Lean, which could explain how Charli has also stumbled upon Bladee.

Much like the OG ‘Rewind’, the remix’s lyrics delve into fame and the downsides that can come with it, complete with entrancing electro sounds. Undoubtedly, it will play on a loop in many Scandinavians’ headphones and speakers this weekend.
