Cher, Serena Williams and a slew of supermodels show up for the Amelia Gray-hosted dinner to celebrate Mojave Ghost
Smack dab in the middle of fashion week, at a well-attended Byredo dinner at the elegant Hôtel de Crillon, a near-mythical guest arrived: Cher. Walking hand in hand with boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, Cher floated in wearing a floor-skimming black overcoat, her white blonde hair in an effortless up-do. It was her second fashion week appearance; she also sat front row at Balmain a couple days earlier.
The dinner, which celebrated a new project around beloved fragrance Mojave Ghost, was co-hosted by campaign star Amelia Gray (mum Lisa Rinna came out, natch) and Byredo creative director Ben Gorham. “Cher is a pop culture icon that I've been admiring my whole life,” says Gorham. “It was such an honour having her at our dinner and to have great conversations going through our creative visions. Like Byredo, Cher is always reinventing and is an inspiration to all.”
But Cher was hardly the only A-list star in attendance. Also at the table were supermodels Paloma Elsesser, Precious Lee and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, actor Hari Nef and the one and only Serena Williams. The stacked guest list begs the question: Who isn’t a Byredo fan?
