The future Queen of Sweden donned attention-grabbing jewellery by Maria Nilsdotter for both of her 2024 Eurovision Song Contest appearances
Many tuned in to watch the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest grand final unfold in Malmö this weekend, with some, like Lily Collins, catching it on TV, while others, like the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, witnessing the much-anticipated spectacle on-site. In fact, the whole event was kicked off with a pre-recorded video message from the beloved royal, where she welcomed everyone to Sweden and wished the best of luck to all contenders.
Both in her video greeting and her live appearance on the red carpet – and later when caught on camera dancing to ‘Hooked On A Feeling’ – the Crown Princess donned sleek and elegant ensembles, complete with statement jewellery courtesy of Swedish brand Maria Nilsdotter. An avid believer in repeat-wearing the pieces you love, Victoria opted for the same set of jewellery for both her day and night looks, wearing Maria Nilsdotter’s silver ‘Empress’ earrings paired with the brand’s ‘Spinning World’ silver necklace, both adorned with precious freshwater pearls.
Embellished with the label’s signature spikes, the jewellery, plucked from Maria Nilsdotter's 'Tarot' collection, lent a touch of edge to the Crown Princess’ otherwise understated and sophisticated tailored attires, which comprised a nude Andiata suit for the video and a (repeat-worn) black H&M number for the show.
