Sarah-Sofie Boussnina emerges as our newest Scandinavian style icon as she hits the red carpet to promote Dune: Prophecy

We’re calling it now: Danish actor Sarah-Sofie Boussnina is destined for a long career of best-dressed lists. The evidence? Her early press looks for Dune: Prophecy, which indicate a sense of style that exudes elegance with undertones of cool girl (a bit like her character, Princess Ynez in hotly anticipated HBO series, come to think of it). Though she’s been acting steadily since she was a teenager (including a role in beloved series The Bridge) this marks her first international press tour and honey, Boussnina did not come here to play.

Exhibit one: Vivienne Westwood at the Dune: Prophecy New York premiere. Boussnina came out the gate with a bang, attending the New York premiere in a corseted Vivienne Westwood gown with an unexpected tulle detail. It’s a great silhouette, only made more enchanting by the blown out beige and black print, a perfect match for the Dune black carpet. Easy hair, virtually no jewellery (save for some drop earrings) and a killer glow lets this statement gown do the talking. No notes.

When Boussnina heads to London, however, things kick up a notch, thanks to celebrity stylist Lorenzo Posocco (best known for crafting the incomparable looks of Rosalia). Here we find her lounging in KNWLS and popping to press appointments in ankle-sweeping faux fur. The icing on the cake? An effortless Celine shift dress, paired with black ankle boots. We will continue to watch this space.
