To celebrate his new book, RE-FRAMED: The Beauty of the Unexpected, Marc Hom welcomed his creative friends and colleagues to an intimate dinner in the Hamptons

Danish photographer Marc Hom has captured the world’s most famous faces, so it’s no surprise that the dinner party to fete his new book, RE-FRAMED: The Beauty of the Unexpected, would draw some big names. Held at the stunning Genesis House in the Hamptons – a cultural site that fittingly boasts an extraordinary library of books and nods to Korean heritage – the intimate dinner found fashion, art and cinema heavyweights toasting to Hom’s hardcover tome, which finds indelible portraits of talents ranging from Taylor Swift to Rafael Nadal.

“The evening captured the essence of craftsmanship and attention to detail, much like the narratives woven throughout the book and showcased in my exhibition at the Fenimore Art Museum,” says Hom, pointing out the “intimate and elegant” atmosphere as well as Michelin-quality Korean dishes. “Every element of the night, from the ambience to the cuisine, resonated with the artistic quality and thoughtfulness that are central to RE-FRAMED.” The four-course meal included Bibim Risotto with snow crab and sea urchin and Yeoleum Mulhwe with tomato Dongchimi, as well as a handful of delicious bespoke cocktails.

For Hom, a highlight of the evening was a conversation shared with renowned photography director Susan White (best known for her work under Graydon Carter at Vanity Fair). “Her introduction set the tone for a night filled with meaningful connections and thoughtful dialogue,” says Hom, who welcomed friends and colleagues, including stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, actor Emma Roberts and photographer duo Inez and Vinoodh, to sit at the meticulously set table. “The evening became a celebration of creativity and camaraderie,” he says.
