The actor donned a pair of slingbacks from the Icelandic brand Kalda – and you can too
When it comes to press tour dressing, this year has truly been the best of times. From Zendaya’s Dune: Part Two and Challengers looks to Anya Taylor-Joy’s Mad Max: Furiosa-themed wardrobe, each talk show appearance and press junket has been a fashion moment to remember. The most recent actor to join in on the fun is Emma Corrin, who is currently turning heads on the press tour for the superhero action film Deadpool & Wolverine.
While Corrin may play a villain in the film, their range of looks on the press tour has been downright heroic. Corrin’s most recent appearance was made all the more exciting by their choice of the Icelandic brand Kalda for their footwear. The brand’s fire engine red Niek Pumps were on full display as Corrin made their way to appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! With their pointed toes, buckles, and contrasting black heels, the slingbacks were the perfect addition to Corrin’s look, which consisted of red tights and a shimmering dress by recent Central Saint Martins graduate Josha Ewusie.

Although Corrin is known to be spotted for their red carpet ensembles from the likes of Miu Miu and JW Anderson, the actor and their stylist, Harry Lambert, often showcase pieces from emerging designers and cult favourite brands. Kalda, founded in 2016 by designer Kata Alda, is already a go-to of the international style set; It-girls like Elsa Hosk and Bella Hadid have been spotted accessorising with the brand’s shoes and bags. With all-female leadership and sustainable production to boot, Kalda is sure to be the (brand) name on everybody’s lips after Corrin’s appearance.
