Capri pants, the new boho and micro mini shorts: Copenhagen Fashion Week's strongest street style looks offered singular takes on the season's prevailing trends
Scandinavia’s very own fashion Olympics, better known as Copenhagen Fashion Week, has drawn to a close, which means it’s time to award gold medals to a handful of street style stars. While many editors, models, influencers and muses opt to wear top-to-toe looks lent by Danish designers, this season the strongest street style looks offered an eclectic mix of vintage and new, high and low and even a handmade piece or two. The result was indelible and inspiring looks that instantly communicate the singular vibe of the wearer.
Take, for instance, Laura Tønder who paired a handmade dress from her own brand Kettelatelier with slouchy green suede boots by beloved American brand Staud (an on-point interpretation of the current boho redux). Emilia Silberg, meanwhile, embraced the micro mini short trend in a denim set by Lioness whilst Anna Winck, also carrying a sweet Staud handbag opted for the pant of the moment – the capri.
These street style stars prove that it’s not just the clothes but how you wear them. Take a cue from these standout looks and go for an unexpected pairing. And when in doubt, just add a bike.
