There's nothing like a festival to bring out your inner fashion freak. Deep into festival season, it's more evident than ever that the field has become our runway, inviting looks so excellent they rival those on stage.
Still, certain practicalities must be taken into consideration. A festival means many hours of standing, dancing and being outside (here in Scandinavia, often in the rain). One will simply need to leave those white linen trousers, maxi dreses, and open-toe shoes at home. So what should one wear on their feet to a festival? We suggest rubber boots (Kate Moss has never steered us wrong) or any type of sturdy leather boot (read: easy to wipe), including combat, motorcycle and cowboy. Or, for those hot days when covering the calf is simply unbearable, a pair of chunky loafers. Anything that can give you that extra height without forcing you to stand in heels is more than welcomed.
