A trouser trend has emerged among A-lister heartthrobs. High-waisted and cut just-so, we have Swedish fashion brand Filippa K to thank for the latest swoon-worthy red-carpet appearances of Tom Holland and Bridgerton's Luke Newton, to name a few
While the menswear market is flooded with tailored trousers, one particular Nordic brand stands out as an A-list favourite: Filippa K. Given the Swedish label’s design DNA, which is deeply rooted in sleek sophistication and immaculate craftsmanship, it’s hardly surprising that its sharply cut slacks have found a place in the wardrobes of Hollywood heartthrobs like Tom Holland, Luke Newton, Nicholas Galitzine, and Toby Wallace.
Specifically, these stars have been spotted sporting Filippa K’s ‘Wide Wool Trousers’ from the brand’s spring/summer ’24 collection. No doubt popular due to its slouchy silhouette, boasting a relaxed yet refined feel with a wide-leg fit. Just last week, Australian actor Wallace rocked a full Filippa K look at the Los Angeles premiere of The Bikeriders, pairing his Wide Wool Trousers with a matching blazer and twill shirt. Meanwhile, British actor Newton has snagged two pairs of the popular piece, opting for Sage Melange and Dark Grey Melange, the latter of which he flaunted while appearing on TV with his Bridgerton cast-mates.

Earlier this year, the trousers made another notable outing on the small screen when Galitzine, Anne Hathaway’s co-star in The Idea of You, wore them in a jet-black iteration along with Filippa K’s ‘Boxy Wool Blazer’ during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
