By Josefin Forsberg

From Swedish actor Hedda Stiernstedt to Dutch content creator Anouk Yve, a slew of famous faces stepped out to celebrate Flattered's first flagship store in Bibliotekstaden, Stockholm

Attention, Swedish shoe and accessory aficionados; A new retail haven has emerged at Mäster Samuelsgatan 11 in Stockholm, where Flattered has unveiled its first flagship store. Described as a "passion project born at the kitchen table" by founders Hanna Kwiatkowska Tisner and Gustav Lidén, Flattered has been gracing our wardrobes with coveted footwear since 2013. Building from humble beginnings crafting ballet flats, the brand has continually expanded, launching its first physical flagship in Bibliotekstaden.

Designed by architecture firm Studio Escapist, the 60-square-metre space perfect complements Flattered's sense of tactility with handmade Italian terracotta floors, black accents, linseed oil-treated metalwork, raw-cut curtains, and warm maple shelves. To mark the occasion, friends and family of the brand were invited to mingle among these shelves the night before the official store opening, sipping limoncello cocktails and nibbling on crudités with three types of dip – all while wearing the brand's signature styles from the autumn/winter '24 collection.

For the founders, the event marked a pivotal transition. "Stepping out from the digital realm into our physical world marks a new chapter for us," said Lidén, highlighting the joy of interacting with customers face-to-face. "Inviting our customers to a space that embodies the Flattered brand, built on Scandinavian minimalism and craftsmanship, is incredibly exciting."
