The Oslo-based brand delivers on elevated basics and timeless pieces. Read on to discover all the looks

The premise of FWSS (which stands for fall winter spring summer) is in its name, a challenge to the fashion industry through designing seasonless collections. While the collections, of course, are inherently released during specific seasons, the ethos of the Norwegian brand is far more focussed on producing sustainable, timeless fashion than following seasonal trends. This goal is embodied in the brand’s newest collection which is designed with the working woman in mind. Pieces fit for the office mix with those well-suited for relaxing periods of downtime. This melding of practicality and comfort retains stylistic integrity, presenting a vision of elegant ease.

For a collection so engaged with elevating the everyday, construction and materiality are key. Made up of fibres like cashmere and merino, each piece makes a structural statement while retaining wearability. From a silken skirt in a rich chocolate tone to pinstripe charcoal suiting, the collection is highly curated and edited; without any bells and whistles, the looks are an assertion of minimal modesty’s visual power. The collection is cumulatively harmonious, with any combination of pieces working well together. One can easily imagine these looks on the go, worn to meetings and on errands, for a quiet day at home or dinner date, no doubt sparking the kind of intrigue that is associated with quiet luxury.
