Alisha Boe is quickly becoming one of fashion's favourite front row darlings. We join the LA-based Norwegian-Somali actor in her Paris hotel room as she gets ready for her last – and perhaps most exciting – show for the autumn/winter ’24 circuit: Acne Studios
“This is a real Scandinavian affair!” Alisha Boe exclaims when I reach her in Paris on the morning of the Acne Studios show staged at the city's stately observatory. “We've got a Swedish designer, Vogue Scandinavia is on the case, and we've got me, a Norwegian!” says the L.A.-based actor, who was born and raised in Oslo up until the age of seven.
A few hours later, Boe's glam team descended on her hotel room, her own Acne Studios look – a sheer ensemble paired with a leather coat and bag (first seen on the brand's spring/summer '24 runway) hanging nearby.
Here, we get a behind-the-scene glimpse of Boe's preparation for the autumn/winter '24 front row where she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Johnny Suh and Willow Smith, to witness creative director Jonny Johansson's latest lust-worthy line-up of leather and denim.
The outfit
“The Acne Studios look was so cool. The jacket had a built in purse so that was fun. The movement of the sheer top and skirt was super fun to play with too.”
The glam
“Shayna Gold and I decided to do a sexy smokey eye with a muted lip, and for hair, Ikeyia and I went with an effortless, undone half up half down look.”
The front row
“The show venue was gorgeous. They had these art installations that were sculptural chairs that were made out of tyres. Guests were sitting on them in the middle of the runway which was a fun element.”
The AW24 show
“This autumn/winter '24 collection was very fun. I loved the fur and leather bodysuits.”
