Get ready with Valter Skarsgård and Hedda Stiernstedt for the 'Börje' premiere

To celebrate the release of Börje, the six-episode series honouring the life of the legend Börje Salming, it was only fitting that a slew of sports legends showed up to the show’s premiere to pay tribute to the late, great hockey hero. Held at Södra Teatern in Södermalm, the event drew heavyweights from Mats Sundin (who, like Salming, made his mark on the game playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs) to current Leafs star William Nylander to alpine legend Ingemar Stenmark. Not to mention a who’s who of Swedish actors, models and good old fashioned hockey fans.

Even with all that star power, the true icons of the evening were Valter Skarsgård and Hedda Stiernstedt, who play Salming and his first wife, Margitta, respectively.
