July 3rd
Haute Couture's autumn/winter 2023 season kicked off on the 3rd of July with Danish supermodel Mona Tougaard opening the Schiaparelli show in an exaggerated black and white collar. The style set that congregated for the occasion could be found emulating the otherworldly creations by Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry and Thom Browne's updated American prep (both showing on this day), while the attendees at Dior clung to the cinched new New Look.
