In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Gucci brings back its beloved Horsebit fine jewellery line-up

Gucci has long been captivated by equestrianism, dating back to the ’30s when the Italian house began crafting fine leather goods for horse riders. Perhaps the most iconic symbol of this legacy is the Horsebit motif, first imagined by a Gucci artisan in the late ’40s. It swiftly captured the world’s imagination in the subsequent decade, adorning everything from the brand’s belts and handbags to small leather goods and the highly coveted Horsebit loafer, which debuted in 1953.

In the ’70s, the Horsebit graced bracelets and watches for the very first time, culminating in the release of its own fine jewellery line in 2004. Now, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved collection, Gucci is relaunching the Horsebit fine jewellery offering with pieces that encapsulate the timeless emblem of grace and luxury.

Boasting jewellery available in yellow or rose gold – some adorned with precious diamonds – the Horsebit collection comprises a selection of bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces, all incorporating the equestrian-inspired hardware in a contemporary way. There’s a statement-making pendant with a chunky chain, dainty studs, sleek cuffs, and single or double-banded Horsebit rings, among others, ensuring a refined piece for everyone. As showcased in Gucci’s latest campaign, shot by Deo Suveera and Pamela Dimitrov, there are numerous ways to flaunt your Horsebit jewellery, adding an elegant touch to any look.
