Last night, Stockholm hosted the 60th Guldbagge Awards, often hailed as Sweden’s Oscars. Scroll down to see all the dazzling looks from the star-studded red carpet
Awards season has officially kicked off in Sweden, too, with the glitzy 2025 Guldbaggen, often referred to as the ‘Swedish Oscars’, held in Stockholm last night. Established in 1964, the event celebrates the best and brightest in Swedish cinema, honouring the most outstanding contributions to the country’s film industry over the past year. The Levan Akin-directed drama flick Passage (Crossing) and the biographical sports drama The Swedish Torpedo, directed by Frida Kempff, emerged as the evening’s biggest winners, each taking home four accolades.
Naturally, for the Swedish film’s night of nights, all the country’s major stars came out to play. Esteemed invitees included a host of Vogue Scandinavia alumni, from Young Royals heartthrob Edvin Ryding and his girlfriend, En del av dig (A Part of You) breakout star Felicia Maxime, to Barracuda Queen Alva Bratt. Hosted by multi-hyphenate performer Shima Niavarani, also featured in this magazine, it was truly an evening to remember – sartorially as well, as the A-listers hit up the red carpet dressed in their finest.
