The former Vogue Scandinavia cover star was radiant at the festival
The Cannes Film Festival red carpet always serves up extravagant fashion. Meryl Streep, who radiated elegance in a pristine white Dior couture wrap dress, and Eva Green, captivating crowds in a shimmering black sequinned Armani Privé ballgown, kicked off proceedings this year, along with Helena Christensen, whose arrival befit her status as an iconic ’90s supermodel.

Framed by the scenic backdrop of the French Riviera, the 55-year-old model graced the red carpet in a glorious white gown from Vivienne Westwood. This bespoke creation was crafted with Westwood’s signature corsetry and was accentuated by a flowing cape that trailed behind her. To complement her heavenly ensemble, Christensen chose a sleek white satin bow by Jennifer Behr for her ponytail and delicate white sandals. Her Pomellato jewellery was nothing short of spectacular, and included a necklace adorned with a 9.98-carat indigolite set against close to 2,000 diamonds on Pomellato’s classic gourmette chain, along with matching ring and earrings.
