Henrik Vibskov - SS25

The Danish brand debuted in Milan with its usual surreal and conceptual notions. Read on to discover all the looks

Drawing inspiration from the animal kingdom and the human capacity for empathy, Henrik Vibskov’s first outing in Milan was a presentation to remember. The spring/summer ‘25 studio collection, dubbed 'The Orchestra of the Soft Assistance', was shown in a surreal setting, the walls and floor covered in white fabric that was plucked in places by suspended red hands. In between the tented forms of the pulled fabric, the models appeared like giants in a mountain range, but the oversized hand sculptures conversely made them appear small. This contrast heightened the collection, bringing the looks into a new environment that was simultaneously natural and manufactured.

Amorphous dresses wafted as if underwater, while bold prints evoked an octopus’ camouflage. Meanwhile, more structured silhouettes playfully contrasted with casually draped knitwear and scarves. In muted yellows and greens interspersed with oceanic blues and poppy reds, the collection included textiles sourced from archive materials and composed of recycled and organic fibres.

Looking ahead, Henrik Vibskov seeks to work with an even higher percentage of sustainable materials, elevating the brand’s responsibility to the environment just as much as it takes inspiration from the natural world.
