Could you share your daily beauty routine with us, from morning prep to evening wind-down?
"With trial and error, I’ve learned that a simple skincare routine is the way to go. My morning routine is minimal: a splash of cold water on my face and a thick moisturiser followed by a SPF. My favourite moisturiser at the moment is d’Alba White Truffle Double Serum & Cream – it’s pricey but probably the best cream I’ve used. It leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and radiant without being greasy.
I, like many others, have fallen in love with heatless hairstyles. They're super easy and quick without causing heat damage, making my morning routine much quicker.
I try to do my nighttime skincare routine one to two hours before going to bed, to allow serums and creams to absorb fully. I start by removing my makeup with micellar water and a moisturising cleanser, followed by hydrating products to help my dry skin. My winter skin saviours are hydrating toners such as the Milk Skin Toner from Tirtir and sheet masks by Garnier.
A couple of times a week, I use Glycolic Acid by The Ordinary all over my body in the evenings to exfoliate and improve skin texture and discolouration. It’s also great for the scalp to help remove dead skin cells, enhancing the overall health of the scalp and hair."
How do you transition your look from daytime to evening? Are there specific products or techniques you find indispensable?
"It may be the oldest trick in the book, but adding black eyeliner to my waterline. I prefer a dainty small feline flick for the daytime, but for a night out, I want my eyes to stand out with a bold, thick wing. My 10-minute day-to-night makeup consists of refreshing my skin with a hydrating setting spray (I like That Dewy Look Setting Spray by Caia Cosmetics or All Nighter by Urban Decay) and a touch-up with my favourite bronzer, YSL All Hours Hyper Bronze. Also, if you know me, you know I love a sparkly eyeshadow, such as LH Cosmetic's liquid Sparkl shadow or Mac's Dazzleshadow. It elevates any makeup look instantly!"
What products do you always have in your handbag – whether headed for a night out or for a red-eye flight?
"My handbag essentials include a variety of lipglosses, preferably Fenty Beauty glosses or Maybelline's Lifter glosses – I am a lipgloss lover, through and through! I also carry hair clips, sunglasses, a mini perfume, a camera, and snacks for good measure."

What is your holy grail beauty product that you would recommend to anyone, and why?
"Vaseline. Living in the Nordics can be tough on the skin, which is why I often like to slug with Vaseline for moisture retention. I’ve used Vaseline all over my body for as long as I can remember – I use it to heal minor skin scrapes, remove eye makeup or preserve perfume on my skin. I also use it on my lashes to make them look fuller and lusher."
If you could give your younger self one piece of beauty advice, what would it be?
"There are so many, but the first thing that came to mind is ”Less is more”. This applies to so many things: Skincare, for example, where you don’t necessarily have to try every trending product on the market. Instead build a routine for your needs and stick to it.
And for makeup, where it's best to embrace and enhance your natural features, rather than trying to mask them.
And start using SPF religiously!"
