French actor Juliette Binoche stunned in custom Acne Studios SS24 while promoting Apple TV's anticipated fashion saga The New Look
The latest celebrity to be spotted wearing Acne Studios is not an emerging 'It; girl or an of-the-moment pop star but a bona fide legend of the screen. French actor Juliette Binoche looked every bit the movie star in a sculptural, body-hugging ivory dress from the Swedish brand’s after-party-themed collection. It was a fitting occasion for such a major fashion moment: Binoche was in Los Angeles celebrating her performance as Coco Chanel in Apple TV’s fashion saga The New Look.
Binoche paired the dress, which appeared on the runway in a dusty purple hue, with red patent boots (yes, contrasting red footwear is still going strong), a chunky chain choker and sculptural bangles. If the dress looks familiar perhaps it’s because it’s not unlike the one Acne Studios campaign star Kylie Jenner wore whilst sitting front row at the brand’s SS24 runway show (Jenner’s dress, however, was red and lacked the zipper and hood).
Joining the likes of Emma Chamberlain and Lorde, who both wore looks from the very same collection late last year, Binoche and the Swedish fashion house are a perfect match. Though she’s unafraid to take a fashion risk – a bold tuxedo, for instance – Binoche’s red carpet looks veer towards sleek and sculptural with an unexpected bit of panache. The finishing touch?
