On a recent trip to the City of Lights, the American supermodel and tech entrepreneur wore the 'Naked Back' dress by Bite Studios, illustrating a confident 'business-in-the-front-party-in-the-back' attitude to dressing

Like most of New York's style-savvy set, Karlie Kloss's wardrobe has taken on a distinctly Nordic-made appeal lately. Mingling with the model's usual Big Apple staples (a Khaite leather blazer, The Row's loafers, and The Frankie Shop sets), we find Acne Studios' suiting, Toteme denim, and Blk Dnm outerwear.

The latest Swedish brand to nestle its way into Kloss' covetable closet is Bite Studios. The brand has become known for its firm focus on fit and fabric, purveying a distinctly Scandinavian sense of minimalism punctuated by the odd eye-catching detail – be it the tule frill on a straight leather skirt or the piano pleats along the button closures of a shirt. A devil-in-the-detail approach that graces Kloss' open-back jersey dress as well.

What can only be described as 'mullet' dressing, the 'business-in-the-front-party-in-the-back' dress offers a modest, almost demure, buttoned-up front, accentuated by romantic butterfly sleeves. Once turned around, however, the stretchy fabric gives way for skin as the entire back is revealed in what the brand describes as a 'reverse plungeä accentuated by gathered details.
