Discover the original denim brand’s skate-inspired collection
With the Paris Olympics next month, it seems that all anyone can talk about are the Games. Be it debates over who will break a world record in their sport (here at Vogue Scandinavia, our money’s on Mondo Duplantis) or reactions to each country’s official uniforms, Olympics discourse is at an all-time high. It’s the perfect time, then, for brands to become part of the buzz, and Levi’s has done just that with its new Levi’s for Paris collection. The famed denim brand took inspiration from the French skateboarding scene as well as the colours of the French flag to create the collection.

Putting a twist on classic sportswear silhouettes with the bold red, blue, and white, Levi’s has also found playfulness in adorning denim jackets and trousers with patches that bear the kind of French phrases even Emily in Paris would understand.
Traditional French patterns are also key, with Breton stripes featuring on casual tees and polka dots peeking out of the linings of cuffed jeans. Rounding out the collection with sneakers, caps, and bags, Levi’s has ensured that there is something for everyone – just in time for the opening ceremony.
