The Saks Potts polo shirt is a cool girl staple, so it tracks that ultimate cool girl Lily-Rose Depp would wear one. The actor and model was snapped in the baby blue colourway – buttoned all the way up to the top – by girlfriend 070 Shake whilst grocery shopping in Tokyo. Depp accessorised the shirt with with a gold cross necklace, simple gold hoops, black Chanel sunglasses and a dubious expression.
First introduced on the Saks Potts Spring/Summer 2024 runway (the very long, very windswept runway by the Danish sea), the ‘Serena’ polo became an instant favourite amongst Danish supermodels and street style girls. However, with the resurgence of preppy dressing (led by the current Miu Miu moment) it feels particularly relevant today. Effortlessly oversized and discernible only by its rivet detail, the polo perfectly captures the moment.
It’s not the first time Depp has shown her allegiance to Saks Potts. Depp and Shake wore ‘hers and hers’ leather jackets from the brand as they packed on the PDA at last summer’s Roskilde festival. Here’s hoping she’ll join the legions of cool girl cameos (Stella Maxwell, Tish Weinstock, Emma Leth, Alana Hadid, Erin Wasson) on the Saks Potts runway.
