Proving the point that fashion and beauty are a match made in heaven, Germaine de Capuccini and Line of Oslo put on a post-show party to remember during Oslo Runway. With family, friends and some of Norways best-known faces in attendance – these are the photos you don't want to miss
This year's edition of Oslo Runway brought together three industry heavyweights – Germaine de Capuccini, Line of Oslo, and Vogue Scandinavia – to host a fashion week soirée to remember. The gathering took place at Line of Oslo's headquarters, where guests were welcomed to take a seat on wicker chairs, each thoughtfully adorned with branded just-in-case umbrellas, lining the pavement outside.
Despite the provision for rain, the sun shone brightly as friends and family of the brand sipped bubbly and mingled along the red-brick walls of the converted warehouse. Among the attendees were well-known industry figures such as former Vogue Scandinavia cover star Nina Sandbech, Norwegian content creator Sophie Sunde Sylte, and twin model duo Sofie and Idunn Vollan. Also in attendance was Vogue Scandinavia's editor-in-chief Martina Bonnier, Dermalys AS CEO Elena Puig Syversen – the driving force behind bringing Germaine de Capuccini to the Nordics – and Line of Oslo’s founder and creative director, Line Varner.
The runway show exuded a familial atmosphere, with Varner's son curating the soundtrack and her daughter Julie Varner (creative director of BikBok) styling the looks – one standout being local style icon Sara Flaaen, who graced the runway in a sparkling black full-bodied skirt. This sense of family extended to the after-party, where guests were invited inside to indulge in a veritable feast of food and drink; branded cupcakes, popcorn, sliders, Caprese salads, and cocktails were eagerly enjoyed by the crowd.
Following a warm welcome speech from Bonnier, Varner, and Puig Syversen, guests were free to mingle beneath the massive disco ball as the DJ, clad in a fluffy snow-white jacket from the brand's latest collection, kept the energy high. As the evening drew to a close, attendees were treated to one of Oslo Runway's most sought-after gift bags, which included the yet-to-be-released September issue of Vogue Scandinavia, Line of Oslo's signature fabric rose pin, and Germaine de Capuccini's ultra-luxurious new release, Timexpert Premier The Cream.
