Last Saturday, New York City’s Museum of Arts and Design welcomed a wealth of A-listers as French heritage couture house Lanvin, together with acclaimed actor Cate Blanchett, hosted a screening of Persona, the iconic 1966 thriller by legendary Swedish film director Ingmar Bergman. Naturally, the esteemed attendees arrived dressed to the nines, among them another Scandinavian silver screen maven and Vogue Scandinavia alum, Lena Olin. Both Ullman and Olin donned looks courtesy of Lanvin, embracing an elegant style befitting the occasion.

Olin, renowned for her gripping performances in blockbuster flicks like The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Chocolat and more recently, Hilma, opted for a sleek ensemble comprising a slouchy, dark teal silk blazer layered over a black lace top. She completed her get-up with black second-skin trousers and Lanvin's metallic, 'Nano Pencil Cat Bag', while chunky silver jewellery and snake leather boots added some edge.

Elsewhere, Ullman, the toast of the evening, exuded sophistication in raven-hued tailoring, showcasing the timeless polish of a well-crafted all-black attire. The actor – who is also a longtime friend of Blanchett – wore a fitted blazer paired with a crisp shirt and tapered trousers. Finishing off the outfit, she teamed classic pumps with sheer black stockings. Sharp and strong, Ullman’s look perfectly embodied the magnetic and powerful ‘Bergman woman’ – a role she remains the ultimate example of.
