A candlelit welcome, golden pocket mirrors, and unforgettable messages of self-love. This is how L’Oréal Paris, Vogue Scandinavia, and Copenhagen Fashion Week ushered in the autumn/winter ‘25 season

I am powerful. I am getting better and better every day. I’m worth it.

These were just a few of the uplifting affirmations echoing along the candlelit stone pathways leading guests to the pre-opening black-tie dinner for the autumn/winter '25 ready-to-wear season at Det Kongelige Teater (the Royal Playhouse and The Old Stage). L’Oréal Paris, Vogue Scandinavia, and Copenhagen Fashion Week joined forces to host the who’s-who of Nordic fashion for an unforgettable evening devoted to self-love and empowerment.

A sweeping, custom-made dining table with a mirrored finish served as the evening’s focal point – a centrepiece that aptly captured the night’s emphasis on self-reflection. From Finnish influencer Sofia Ruutu’s resolve to “only let good energy in” to Mathilde Gøhler’s quest for greater balance, each attendee had submitted a personal affirmation in advance. These affirmations were then engraved on golden pocket mirrors and gifted to the guests.

Rising local star Andrea Lykke’s musical interlude, supported by a six-person choir and a guitar, brought the evening to a close. The performance was followed by espresso martinis and an indulgent chocolate dessert served in silver coupes, paired with another kind of sweet treat: L’Oréal Paris’ two new must-try products, the Paradise Big Deal Mascara and Plump Ambition Lip Oil.

By the evening’s end, L’Oréal Paris’s iconic message remained unmistakable – reminding everyone, well into 2025, that we’re worth it.
