Led by menswear creative director Pharrell Williams, the maison took Paris by storm. Read on to discover all the looks

On the first anniversary of his tenure as the men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams delivered an unforgettable spring/summer ‘25 collection. On the roof of La Maison de l’UNESCO in Paris with a backdrop of flags, 81 models strutted to the Daimer-patterned grass runway to a musical composition by Williams himself. The collection was, at its core, a reflection on humankind. Referencing travel and diasporic community, it celebrated our species’ diversity while also musing on what connects us all. The collection was designed in collaboration with Air Afrique, a creative collective formed by Lamine Diaoune, Djiby Kebe, Jeremy Konko, and Ahmadou-Bamba Thiam that takes its name from the Pan-African airline that ran between 1961 and 2002. Air Afrique not only directed the cinematic prelude which opened the show, but also collaborated on logos and patterning for the collection.

Opening with a series of tailored black suiting and bombers, the collection then turned to browns and greys as it explored variations of common Louis Vuitton motifs. Introducing lighter pieces and furs, the collection concluded with a series of saturated jackets and sets – including two ensembles made with football-esque stitched leather. Of course there were a host of refined bags and trunks, while accessories (sparkling aeroplane pins on your baseball cap, anyone?). Overall, the show took Louis Vuitton’s luxury codes and applied them to Williams’ unifying mission, representing the global community that inspires and drives the brand.
