The Danish model, currently one of the most in-demand names in fashion, may have tripped during her walk in the Boss spring/summer '25 show – but she owned it like a true Boss

Danish model Mona Tougaard is undeniably one of the industry’s hottest, most booked-and-busy names right now, landing coveted gigs – from glossy magazine covers to campaigns and runway shows for the biggest luxury brands. This fashion month alone, she’s already graced the catwalks of spring/summer ’25 spectacles for the likes of Max Mara, Fendi, Alaïa, Tory Burch, and more.

Among Tougaard’s latest runway appearances was the Boss SS25 showcase, held yesterday in the lush, grass-swathed garden of Milan’s Palazzo del Senato. For the model, who closed the show, the walk didn’t go quite as planned when she took a slight tumble mid-show (it is, after all, very tricky to walk on soft grass in heels). But lest we forget, even the very best – including Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, and Karlie Kloss – have had some less than graceful moments on the runway, and Tougaard certainly handled hers like a true Boss.

“If anyone has a video of me falling at the Boss show, please send it to meeeee," Tougaard wrote post-spectacle via her Instagram Stories. Sure enough, when she asked, someone from the Boss team came through. Soon, a clip of the stumble appeared in Tougaard's Stories, with her owning the misstep – as she should. Boss also shared the video on its TikTok and Instagram accounts, with the apt caption: “Even when we fall, we rise like a boss.”
