Few appreciate beauty quite like Nathalie Schuterman. Best known for her beloved luxury boutique, the Swedish fashion entrepreneur just moved into a new residence that stunningly reflects her discerning eye whilst doubling as a cosy gathering place for her daughter Chloé (who crashes there occasionally) and daughter-in-law Kajsa (who just welcomed Schuterman’s first grandchild). We take an exclusive tour of the tasteful sanctuary together with the trio of Schuterman women

The name Nathalie Schuterman has long been associated with a landmark address. From 1998 to 2023, fashion folk frequently made the pilgrimage to her eponymous boutique in the heart of Stockholm. More than just a retail destination, the curated store was a cornerstone of the Scandinavian fashion landscape, both as an entryway for high-end brands and as an incubator for young, burgeoning designers. It’s no exaggeration to say that Nathalie’s taste has shaped how many modern Swedish women live and dress today.

With Nathalie’s recent shift in professional focus (more on that later) her attention has turned to another significant address: her new personal residence. Perched on the stately boulevard of Strandvägen, Stockholm’s answer to Park Avenue, the corner apartment sits within a 19th century building designed by Swedish architect Johan Albert Nordström. Nathalie and her partner, Mikael Gottschlich, took ownership of the property several years ago but delayed their move-in to complete a meticulous two-year renovation. By the time of Vogue Scandinavia’s visit, the couple have enjoyed enough time in their completed home to witness four seasons unfold across the capital’s shimmering inner-city waterfront, of which their new property affords them sweeping views.
