Natalie Portman pays homage her children with the help of cult Copenhagen-based jewellery brand, Sophie Bille Brahe

After a whirlwind Paris Fashion Week – including front-row appearances at Dior and Stella McCartney – Natalie Portman has been taking some well-deserved ‘me time’ and diving into the pages of her book club's latest novel: Creation Lake by Rachel Kushner – as documented in a new post on the Hollywood star's Instagram account. Her quieter moment of reading wasn't without a dose of glamour though, as slipped onto the finger of impeccably manicured hands was an all-out show-stopper ring courtesy of Scandinavian jewellery brand, Sophie Bille Brahe – one that Portman also chose to wear to complete her recent fashion week ensembles.

“Portman is wearing 'Ensemble A' from my 'Lettre de Lumiére' collection,” says the eponymously-named designer. The collection draws inspiration from Inger Christensen’s poetic masterpiece Alphabet, where the everyday prose of a relationship can be expressed in one letter. “I developed an early fascination with the idea of passing down memories and treasures to future generations," Bille Brahe goes on. "The 'Ensemble' rings have become my interpretation of a modern signet ring. Portman’s 'Ensemble A' represents her two children, Aleph and Amalia, embodying the collection’s essence – preserving love and family memories.”

For Bille Brahe, it has been a long-standing dream to see Portman in one of her designs: “I have always been captivated by Portman; she embodies the essence of a dream girl for me, exuding effortless coolness, a graceful gentleness, and an almost limitless beauty. Her elegance and individuality resonate with my strong, modern femininity.”

Available in all 26 letters of the alphabet, as well as a heart emblem (for those whose preservation of love and family extends beyond one letter), the collection is crafted in 18-karat certified recycled yellow cold and is topped with Top Wesselton VVS diamonds.
