The train will depart from Bergen on the west coast, moving towards and through Oslo before heading north for historical Trondheim. As the Norient Express traverses the dynamic and varying landscape, you will have the opportunity to take in the scenic views of Norway's lakes, mountains, fjords – and hopefully even the Northern Lights.

In every detail of this experience, the Norient Express is keeping things local. Taking the opportunity to showcase what Norway has to offer, both in nature and its design credentials, all of the plush furnishings are locally produced using Norwegian materials.

Both trains that will make this journey are electrically powered, issuing far lower emissions than typical trains. Like the travel industry's equivalent to slow fashion, the Norient Express will be one of the most environmentally-friendly ways to explore Norway's stunning natural beauty.

Six days on a train could feel like a long time, but thankfully the team behind the Norient Express have you covered with space to work-out. Both trains will come equipped with an exercise room (along with an observatory and other exciting facilities yet to be unveiled) allowing you to stay on top of your fitness goals whilst taking in what Norway has to offer.
