Hedda Stiernstedt and Josefin Asplund shine at the gala premiere of 'Nova & Alice'

Nova & Alice, the new must-see music-filmed drama, was the toast of the town in Stockholm last night. Step inside the celebrations and see all the red carpet snapshots

After following their exciting separate trajectories in the world of film and television, two of our favourite Swedish acting talents, Hedda Stiernstedt and Josefin Asplund, have collided in the explosive new drama Nova & Alice. Playing two artists who are reluctantly sent on a joint tour by their manager, they roll between Swedish summer concert venues with plenty of emotional, adrenaline-charged drama in between. The new release, rolling out at cinemas this week, is directed by Emma Bucht and, fittingly, boasts a killer soundtrack of specially written music by Grammy-nominated artists such as Jörgen Elofsson, Molly Sandén, First Aid Kit and Stella Lagnefors.

To toast the release, a well-heeled crew of cast members and cool kids gathered in Stockholm last night for the official Nova & Alice gala premiere.
