Exclusive: Pernille Teisbæk's Chanel AW25 show diary

For Danish tastemaker Pernille Teisbæk, styling is everything.

When the invitation arrived for Chanel's AW25 ready-to-wear runway show, Teisbæk selected an array of the maison's iconic black tweed pieces – masterfully dressed up and down.

“It’s Chanel day! My day starts with a knock at my hotel room door from my team, who start hair and makeup.”

“When I was choosing what to wear for the show, I was really drawn to this iconic look – the black tweed jacket and the coordinating tweed skirt.”

“I loved how versatile it was to wear the pieces together or separately. I think it works so well with a black body to dress up…”

“...but also with denim, to dress down...”

“...which I loved! It was such an easy, but elegant day look, which would have been perfect for the 10.30am show.”

“But I ultimately loved styling it with these black pants and shoes. The proportions of the fitted jacket, with the balloon-style bottoms, just worked on the morning. And I went with it.”
