“I’m always on the lookout for long-lasting, timeless pieces, which surely was the inspiration behind the choices of the curation. I’ve focused mainly on European designs in the curation, which is what I naturally gravitate towards, so this also helped to steer my selection,” Teisbaek says. “These pieces are some I would love to collect and display in my own home myself.”

Featuring a diverse array of 84 items, the auction spans unique furniture to vintage fashion gems. When curating the collection, Teisbaek was guided by her intuition, picking the pieces that most caught her eye. “I always enjoy moving pieces around the house to create new constellations, so it gave me energy to mentally rearrange and curate an edit that I would invest in myself,” she says.

The whole selection exudes Teisbaek’s refined tastes, with standout pieces including a 1950s Pierre Jeanneret chair, a 1960s console designed by Brazilian Jorge Zalszupin, and the Akari Lamp hand-crafted by Japanese master Isamu Noguchi (as seen in Teisbaek’s home). “The Noguchi Lamp is fun as it can be styled in different ways: both as a floor lamp as well as a table lamp, depending on the mood,” says Teisbaek. Meanwhile, fashion enthusiasts will be pleased to discover the ’00s Miu Miu Hobo shoulder bag and a sleek Chanel halterneck dress from the house’s spring/summer ’06 collection, amongst others.

As for Teisbaek’s personal favourites? “A special Gucci lighter from the ’90s that is so decorative to place anywhere, a beautiful Louis Vuitton trunk, and a vintage mirror.”

The first opportunity to bid begins on June 26th at 1stdibs.com. All offerings will feature a “buy it now” price for those looking to make immediate purchases.
