The beloved Danish brand teamed up with Oslo boutique Moniker to host its closest Norwegian friends, in true, fun-loving Rotate style

Rotate's fan club is thoroughly international, extending far beyond its home of Copenhagen. But the bond has always been particularly strong in neighbouring Oslo. "Norwegian women are not afraid to dress up and be individual in their style," say creative directors Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars. "The Norwegians are so glamourous, putting time into their hair, makeup and building a fabulous outfit, making a natural match for Rotate!"

So, to toast this synergy and their closest Norwegian friends, Rotate's creative directors partnered up with local Oslo boutique Moniker and took over the city's sought-out Restaurant Alex for a night to remember. With It girls such as Marianne Theodorsen, Darja Barannik and Nina Sandbech in attendance – decked out in Rotate, naturally – it was an opportunity for the brand to reflect on the style set in Norway that have championed Rotate since the start. "The girls have been unwaveringly supportive from the very beginning," Madsen and Valdimars say. "They are such a strong group of women, who consistently stand by each other, it’s really admirable."

The evening also offered a glimpse of Rotate's upcoming pre-fall collection, as worn by Madsen and Valdimars. Madsen opted for a form-fitting strapless black dress with a mesh panel across the body, while Thora sporting Rotate's signature sequins across a sheer pink maxi number.

As the night unfolded, paloma cocktails flowed, vinyl records were mixed and french fries were served en masse. See all the snapshots from the evening below.
