To keep thing interesting, Saks Potts presented a see-now-buy-now Autumn/Winter 2021 collection
Never one to do things by the book, today, while others are showcasing Spring/Summer 2022, Saks Potts presented Autumn/Winter 2021. A see-now-buy-now offering, the collection proposes a tightly-curated closet. Against the backdrop of the garden of the late architect Arne Jacobsen’s private home in Charlottenlund, models donned crisp shirts, elegant croc-effect leathers and, yes, statement coats. It was a homey, intimate affair, made only more charming by the appearance of a bold feline, who brought new meaning to the word catwalk.
The devil is in the details, with flourishes like AirPod-sized pockets and eyelets from which to hang one’s keys. Inspired by Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, the collection is decidedly practical. Find personal touches by way of an updated SP monogram — inspired by the neck of the mute swan, Denmark’s national bird — and short stories stitched into the lining of each garment.
