As Victoria’s Secret brings back its iconic show with Danish Josephine Skriver returning to the runway, we take the opportunity to look back at each and every Scandinavian model to have donned VS wings over the years
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back. Relaunching its infamous show last night in New York, the lingerie powerhouse also brought back iconic faces from the past, with former angels Adriana Lima, Barbara Palvin and Tyra Banks are all reprising their roles. Amongst those reunited was homegrown Danish supermodel Josephine Skriver, a mainstay at the VS spectacles throughout the 2010s.
While Skriver has perhaps donned the wings most regularly, she's far from the only Scandinavian model to be welcomed to Angel ranks – former Vogue Scandinavia cover stars Helena Christensen, Elsa Hosk and Kelly Gale are all Victoria's Secret veterans.
Amongst the glitter-encrusted, star-studded Victoria's Secret fever, we take a look back at all nine Nordic modes to have earned their wings and walked the runway over the years.
