Captured in front of LACMA'S Urban Light installation, Sofia Richie Grainge brought a touch of Scandinavian sensibility to her look at last week’s LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles
You’d be hard-pressed to have missed Sofia Richie Grainge’s undeniable influence on the fashion sphere over the past year. From her star-studded wedding in the South of France that set the nuptial gold standard to her covetable collaboration with Djerf Avenue last Christmas, she has immersed herself into the style-conscious hearts of Scandinavian fashion savants.
Her latest dabble with Nordic fashion came courtesy of a red carpet appearance at the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2024 in Los Angeles. Styled for the occasion by Vogue Scandinavia contributor Maria Barsoum, Grainge sported an asymmetric, draped brown Saint Laurent by Anthony Vacarello dress. The cherry on top, sartorially speaking, was the newly launched infinity loop necklace and matching bracelet from Swedish fine jewellery brand Engelbert.

“We selected gold jewelry from Engelbert to enhance the dress's rich, earthy tone,” Barsoum explained. “The pairing of gold with deep brown created a warm, luxurious contrast, adding softness to the overall look while maintaining polish and sophistication.” The inherent Scandinavian minimalism of Engelbert was the perfect finishing touch, aligning seamlessly with the vision Richie Grainge’s team had in mind. “Sofia particularly loved the timeless elegance of the Engelbert pieces, which refined the look and stayed true to her aesthetic,” Barsoum added.
