Anna Teurnell's debut piece for Filippa K is now up for grabs. Shop the denim below

The wait is finally over as Filippa K drops the first piece conceived by the Swedish brand’s newly appointed creative lead, Anna Teurnell. In February, it was announced that Teurnell, who also has her own label, Teurn, would take over following Liisa Kessler’s departure. Last month, we received the first taste of what Teurnell’s Filippa K will look like when the brand unveiled its spring/summer ‘25 collection. Nevertheless, we won’t have to wait until next year to get our hands on pieces created by Teurnell, as her first design just landed in stores and online.

And what better way to kick off than with a classic? Teurnell’s first drop for Filippa K introduces a pair of ’90s bootcut jeans crafted from era-appropriate stretch denim, referencing the brand’s archives. “The very first garment I owned from Filippa K was a pair of stretch jeans. I’ve always loved what they’ve stood for – comfort and ease,” shares Teurnell. “For my first piece, I wanted to pay homage to this heritage product while reinterpreting a signature silhouette for the modern wardrobe.”

Arriving in a timeless mid-blue wash, the jeans feature an exaggerated bootcut silhouette complete with a stacked effect at the hem, showcasing Teurnell’s distinctive take on the label’s stretch denim. Finished with an archive-inspired two-button closure and the Filippa K 93 Monogram emblazoned on the right rear pocket, these jeans are set to become the autumn wardrobe staple for many a style savant. Be sure to snag yours, as the brand has only produced a limited edition run of 300 pieces.
